Key Policies

Safeguarding

DSCP Services is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We have policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Child Protection Policy which can be viewed here. We actively support the Government’s Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.

Equality

We are committed to equality and diversity, as both a provider of services and as an employer. Our practices and procedures aim to reflect the varied needs, expectations and culture of all members of our community. We make every effort to ensure that no member of the community receives less favourable treatment when accessing our services on the grounds of:

  • Age
  • Disability
  • gender reassignment
  • marriage and civil partnership
  • pregnancy and maternity
  • race
  • religion or belief
  • sex
  • sexual orientation

DATA PROTECTION & SECURITY

DSCP Services has developed a bespoke software system which ensures confidential and sensitive data is kept and communicated securely. We are working towards gaining the government-backed Cyber Essentials Certificate.
